Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

 

Order shipping may see some unforeseen delays during monsoon season (June-August), due to heavy rainfall, landslides and other natural calamities, which are a common occurrence in Uttarakhand every year. As, such events have an impact on road connectivity with other regions.

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer Rs.60 flat rate shipping to India. Orders usually get delivered within 3-8 days, from the day of order confirmation.

 

We offer free shipping option for orders exceeding Rs.699

 

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over Rs.380 within Ranikhet (PIN code: 263545). For orders under Rs.380, we charge Rs.10 for local delivery.

 

Deliveries are made from 10:00AM to 4:00PM on weekdays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the 220+ countries. For international shipping timeline varies from 8-20 days, since expectations can vary greatly depending on the destination. We charge a flat rate of $7 for international shipping.

 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Himalayan Soap Shop is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shrot.naturals@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 


Returns and Refunds


We accept refunds up to 10 days after delivery, if the item is damaged/expired/does not match the description, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

 

Please note: For Handmade Soaps at times the packaging might get oily due to oils released by the soap. This is a unique property of handmade soaps and does not mean that the soap is damaged. Handmade soaps contain natural Glycerin which acts as a natural moisturizer. Commercial soap companies extract this glycerin and sell it for additional profits. Glycerin by nature, is hydrophilic, meaning it attracts atmospheric humidity. This is the reason that soap packaging gets moist, specially during monsoon season. This can be avoided by using plastic packaging but we wish to keep our products sustainable and avoid using plastic in our packaging. Although, this happens very rarely due to our strict quality control, if you still receive such product and wish to get a refund contact us at shrot.naturals@gmail.com within 10 days of delivery and we will issue a full refund. But just for awareness, such soaps are safe to use and this is a sign that a soap is handmade.

 

We also offer full refund on full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return, in case you are ordering our product for the first time and are not satisfied with the product. In this case the order value should not exceed Rs. 570. For such cases please contact us at shrot.naturals@gmail.com within 10 days of delivery.

 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at shrot.naturals@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
